“What We Do”
Floor Forensics has been certified and licenced by the National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA), which is the recognized governing body for the hardwood flooring industry in Canada and The United States. The primary focus of Floor Forensics is to offer objective third party inspections of hardwood floors that will pinpoint the cause of the problem and the party responsible. These written and signed reports will include all supporting photographs and documentation.
In addition, we offer a comprehensive series of in-house training modules tailored for businesses in the hardwood flooring sector wishing to take a more proactive approach in avoiding issues in the field. Find a full list of our services here.
As a member of the NWFA, I subscribe, without reservation, to these standards of professional conduct:
- To deal with my customers with honesty and integrity.
- To promote the merits of my products and services without degrading competitors.
- To reveal all the material facts so that the truth about my products and services may be
- understood fully.
- To abide by all governmental regulations and statutes.
- To support the NWFA and its goals and purposes toward advancing the wood flooring industry.
- To, in the performance of my profession, commit no act that would discredit my profession or
- the wood flooring industry.
- To abide by these Standards of Professional Conduct and recognize the NWFA as the
- authority in all matters relating to interpretation and enforcement of these Standards,
- within prevailing legal limits.
I endorse the NWFA Standards of Professional Conduct and understand that, pursuant to
NWFA Bylaws, violation of any of these Standards can result in my expulsion from the
National Wood Flooring Association.
